Black suede shoes from the 1920s. Maker's mark: C.H. Porter Shoe Co. * Galena, Illinois. The striking thing about these shoes is that they have two patents. On the sole: a patent from November 1921. And on the heels: a patent from Good Year from June 1916. The shoes are in very good condition. Minimal signs of age and wear. The black suede is slightly discolored.
